Responsibilities:
Support the functions of the manager.
Communicate information about customers to the manager.
Supervise employees to ensure that work is being completed properly.
Meet with the manager to discuss business and employee performance.
Conduct employee evaluations and recommend hiring or firing of employees.
Coordinate with inventory and production managers to ensure that merchandise is being handled properly and/or is being produced in sufficient amounts.
Order new merchandise, when necessary.
