Our client in Hamden,CT is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to work as part of a team of system administrators to provide Linux server administration, support and technical guidance for mission-critical administrative and academic applications in a dynamic, 24/7 production data center environment.
Three years experience supporting production Linux systems
Thorough knowledge of and experience with Linux operating systems, utilities, tools and applications
Production experience with at least two of the following - automated install, automated build and deployment (Jenkins or similar tools), automated configuration management (CFEngine, Chef, Puppet or similar tools), enterprise monitoring systems (Opsview, Nagios, or similar tools), server virtualization (VMware), load balancing (F5 or similar), web servers (Apache), Java application servers (JBoss or similar), enterprise storage (NetApp, Isilon, 3PAR or similar), business continuity and disaster recovery plan development
Additional Preferred Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree
Experience in an environment where ITIL processes are in use.
Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to write scripts in an administrative scripting language such as Shell, Perl or Python
Demonstrated ability to write technical documentation for a technical audience
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
