Busy mental health practice in Hamden, CT is seeking an energetic and experienced psychiatric APRN to join our large and growing interdisciplinary geriatric & adult psychiatric practice. Both full and part time positions are available.
Known for our excellent care with geriatric psychiatry as our group specialty, we provide services in a private practice setting as well as in 8 assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. We offer individual, group and family psychotherapy, as well as medication and behavior management for our patients depending on their needs.
Our APRNs work fairly independently though each receives frequent supervision from one of our three licensed board certified psychiatrists. Our team of 3 APRNs, 2 LCSWs, 3 physicians and 7 support staff takes the time to deliver excellent care. Our practice sets high expectations and gives you the training and support to succeed. First year grads or those without patient experience as an APRN are welcome to apply, we will train the right candidate. Minimal telephone on-call responsibilities with MD back up always available.
MSN from an accredited program and certified by the American Nurse's Credentialing Center as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing (Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist PMH-CNS or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMH-NP). Connecticut APRN licensure required and state and federal DEA licensure application in process or obtained.
Salary:
Commensurate with education and experience. 85K+

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
