Vehicle Description 2010 Aston Martin Rapide This is an adult owned and maintained Aston Martin.
The drive train runs perfectly, and services have been done by dealer specialists since it was purchased in 2018.
The Rapide has four doors and a hatchback, which makes it the practical Aston Martin, but it is also a very beautiful car, and a bit rare too with less than 2000 being made in 2010.
Think of it as a supermodel who can wash dishes.
The Rapide has been driven about 2,000 miles a year which included many longer drives from New Haven, CT to southern NJ and back.
In the winter Miller Motor Cars in Stamford, CT performs the annual maintenance and repairs, she's then stored in the owner's garage under a car cover with a trickle charger until spring.
It is a very sweet ride which gets a lot of positive attention.
Many strangers pull up beside the Rapide, smile and give a thumbs up.
It is a very cool car, but it is time for she and the owner to take different roads.
The car was originally sold in NY and then made her way to the mid-west and deep south for a bit before coming back north to CT.
The local Aston Martin dealership, Miller Motor Cars, administers the premium extended warranty and performed the bulk of the maintenance and repairs.
The Carfax describes minor to moderate damage to the left side in 2017, but Autocheck gave this Rapide a score of 94 when she was purchased by the current (the 5th) owner in 2018 and has no mention of the damage.
There is no evidence of work done, and in 2017, anything extensive would have totaled this car pretty easily, it is possible the Carfax is incorrect.
The car has 29,970 miles and as an Aston Martin comes standard with many high end features, including tilt-telescoping steering wheel, 8 way, power, heated and cooled seats, bi-xenon headlamps and LED tail lamps.
Leather and wood trim with aluminum accents; power front seats with memory; Bang & Olufsen 16-speaker sound system with two tweeters that rise from the dashboard on activation of the system; satellite radio with USB and iPod connectivity, Bonded aluminum chassis, 20-inch alloy wheels, Adjustable suspension, Front and rear parking sensors, Automatic climate control, Leather upholstery and alcantara head liner, Navigation system The car is painted in Canna Di Fucile (Gunmetal Grey metallic) over a Bitter Chocolate leather interior, which includes 4 bucket seats set down deep in the chassis.
The 6 litre V12 is a DOHC, all aluminum (block and heads), 48 valve, monster that is super smooth in it's application of 510 HP and 420 lb-ft to the ground via the paddle shifted, 6 speed auto growling as it moves up through the RPMs.
The hatch back is decorated in matching alcantara suede to look like a set of fit luggage when closed.
Both front and rear doors open in a swan mode, out and up.
There are a couple of foibles in this supermodel's fame.
One very small ding on the left rear door, lines forming in the veneer on the nav system, very minor wear on the driver lower bolster, a small scuff under the front air dam and she's missing the under engine tray.
The Carfax shows regular maintenance throughout her life and the current owner has a file of every receipt since his ownership which includes:
Replaced driver's side front fender liner, Performed TCU re-flash per Aston Martin campaign RA-07-0028, Replaced front tie-rod assemblies, Performed 4-wheel tire alignment, Replaced windshield washer motors, Replaced rear brake pads and sensors, Replaced front left marker light, Replaced front brake pads, Performed Annual Service (two-year) including oil change and filter replacement, Performed differential servicing, Performed coolant flush, Replaced engine drive belt, Performed annual one-year service including oil change Replaced front left headlight assembly, Replaced battery and performed minor paint touch-up on front bumper and wheels, Replaced tires with new Bridgestone Potenza S001 tires (in 2018, 245/40 ZR20 in F, 295/35 ZR 20 R), all within the last 6000 miles.
The car has two crystal keys and one emergency metal key, along with a custom fit car cover and trickle charger that come with the car.
If ever there was a true Sport Saloon, this is it! It will accelerate 0 to 60 MPH in 4.
7 seconds.
Sold originally in 2010 for roughly $200,000, this car can now be had in nearly new condition, with very low mileage for almost a quarter of that original asking price.
$52,000 will take her to a new home.
Any questions, for many more photos and video, to schedule a time to see her in person, or to make an offer, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for the interest.
